Land adjacent to Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Peel has a further 60 acres of development land strategically located around the main entrance road to the Airport,
with planning permission for office, industrial distribution and mixed use consents secured with Liverpool City
Council.
These sites are all close to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and within the Speke Garston regeneration area. They are
suitable primarily for a range of employment uses and development is likely to include business units, a hotel, car
showrooms, and children’s nursery.
These sites have outline planning permission and detailed proposals are being progressed. The development programme
is expected to be phased over the next 5 to 10 years.
The success of LIBP has proved these sites will deliver major economic opportunities to an area of need in South
Liverpool, and thus meet a number of the Ocean Gateway objectives. These sites play a key role within the Peel
activities of the area.
