Pioneer Business Park, Ellesmere Port

Peel is developing an 8 hectare business park located between Junctions 7 and 8 of the M53 motorway and has over the last four years secured planning permission for over 100,000 square metres of new commercial development now completed securing over £45 million of private investment. Further employment generating development is due to commence imminently for the next phases.

Peel has worked closely with Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council in securing £8.1 million of European funding that has helped to secure significant private investment in this area.

Peel expects a further private investment of approximately £10 million to be spent in helping to secure Pioneer Business Park as one of Cheshire’s premier business park locations. This site is an example of Peel’s commitment and contribution towards the wider economic regeneration of Ellesmere Port, especially as it complements the proposals for Rossfield Park and Ellesmere Port Quays which includes a significant amount of residential and mixed use floorspace.

The development is likely to create well over 1,000 jobs which is a significant boost to the economic regeneration of Ellesmere Port and delivers against key objectives for the Ocean Gateway.
