A biomass CHP plant using waste wood to generate 20 MW of electricity. Power will be exported to the national grid and there is an opportunity to supply heat to local industry at Ince. This is one of 16 Ocean Gateway projects which make up Peel’s contribution to Atlantic Gateway.
